Induction Heating Used in Crystal Growing Chamber

15 kW MSI Automation Induction Generator provides heating power from its tuned Load Matching Station, (in photo background). Frequency is 35-40kHz, (inaudible). Control is by means of a 4-20 ma signal. The heating cycle in the horizontal, high gas velocity quartz tube is 3 hrs., continuous. The special heating coil features high purity solid copper bus bar and high efficiency square copper tubing. The power supply (not visible) is 25 feet away and connected to the Load Matching Station via a high frequency power cable. Overall system efficiency is high.
