IGBT Induction Heating Generator

Applications:
Brazing, Heat Treating, Bonding, Debonding, Crystal Growing, Shrink Fitting, etc.

Specifications:

Flow Switch

Induction brazing of bronze bellows to brass flow switch. Note that brazing occurs at both ends of the bellows simultaneously by means of a dual, co-axial heating coil.

  • All Solid State Electronics assures reliable operation under a variety of conditions and in different applications.

  • 3-Phase Input Power is recified into stable DC voltage. High speed shut-down circuitry protects the system during overloads.

  • Power Regulation is by means of Digital Timer & PID (ramp-up, hold & ramp down) Control.

  • Heating Power, as in brazing applications, can be modulated from full power to lower power by means of std. dual mode digital timer. This allows for better control over most brazing operations, avoiding over-heating the part. Optional features include 2 additional power level steps (changes) when the process requires more temperature precision during the heat cycle.

  • Digital Tuning maximizes efficiency even as the heating load changes.

  • External Load Matching Station is utilized. This allows the user to place the power supply (shown) where it is most convenient. The load matching station then can be mounted next to the work area. Up to approx. 40 feet (10 meters) can span the distance between the power supply and load matching station.

  • Water-Cooling and internal fan-cooling for maximum reliability.

  • Steel Enclosure is coated with a hard baked enamel finish and the door is gasketed against dust and moisture.

  • Full Operator Controls include 7 status lamps, on/off switches, digital timer, power control knob, and electronic amperage and frequency display.
